The end of the semester is rapidly approaching! With everyone anxiously studying for exams, our tea group provided the perfect excuse to leave the library and meet with friends. This time I (Nick) was the humble brewer of tea. We met in Yize's (一澤美帆) room. Although only here for three months, she already has a super cozy Japanese-style setup where everyone can sit comfortably on the floor.
This time we drank three different kinds of Tieguanyin (铁观音), some Longjing Green Tea (西湖龙井) from Hangzhou's Lake Xi, and, thanks to Yongsok's generosity, 20 year Pu'er Tea (普洱茶); they were all very good! Above is an awesome video put together my Yongsok (AKA Mr. Oh, AKA the Tea Lover).

Our Second Brew!
Today a new member joined us, 一澤美帆 from Japan. In the picture below we're trying to convince her that new members must sing a song; she got off the hook, however. Perhaps Hu Xiaotian can sing one for us next week!
This week we met at the dorm room of the tea master himself, Oh Yongseok. Below you can see him in action. This week we drank Tie Guanyin tea (铁观音) and a couple different kinds of Pu'er tea (普洱茶). Oh Yongseok taught us a lot about Pu'er tea in particular, which is aged for years before being brewed.

Next time Nick will act as host. Although he surely won't match Oh Yongseok in technique, he feels he's learned much from watching and should be up for the task next meeting.
